Over the years I've been fortunate enough to work with some cracking companies. From broadcast TV to digital media, I've enjoyed a challenging and exciting career so far.
Head of Media and Content Production - EDACY (March 2019 - December 2019)
I ran the media department of EDACY, a company focusing on education technology across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. I produced international documentaries, instructional video content and green screen recordings and was in charge of all production across the company.
Casting Researcher - ITV Jeremy Kyle Show - (August 2018 - January 2019)
Sourcing participants and working with talent, crew and contributors in the ITV studio.
Assistant Producer - BBC Tomorrow's World (March 2018 - August 2018)
Previously worked at BBC Salford as an Assistant Producer for Tomorrow’s World. For this I created content, wrote scripts and articles and organised logistics for shoots and online publications.
Senior Researcher - Lizardfish TV (January 2018 - April 2018)
I was a senior researcher at Manchester based production company Lizardfish TV. The role included researching, script writing, planning and organising shoots.
Director On Site - Google / YouTube (September 2016 - July 2018)
For two years I was the UK filmmaker for Google / YouTube, being responsible for all Director On Site video production in the UK. For this I created brand driven digital video content for Google’s clients across the UK and USA. This involved acting as a one-man production company in which I was the producer, scriptwriter, videographer and editor for all UK videos. I’ve worked with a large range of brands including Majestic Wines, UNICEF, The Works, Currie Motors Retail Group and Storm Watches.
Creative Director, Swift Video (May 2014 - Present)
I run and manage my own independent production company, Swift Video. I produce short form video ads for digital and social media. Companies and organisations I’ve worked with include Shelter, Student Beans, FoodIT, Wonderhub, Point A Hotels, Open Study College, CS Global and Feel Hot Yoga.
TV Work and Training
I’ve worked in TV development with Blue Door Co and Banyak Films. For these I researched and developed treatments for reality doc TV shows and pitched them to channels such as Al Jazeera, BBC Learning and National Geographic. I’ve worked with Channel 4 as a production assistant on documentary series ‘No Go Britain’ as well as a production coordinator with the BFI.
